Man Arrested for Using Jujitsu on Woman

A Florida man in Palm Bay is facing multiple charges after misusing his Jujitsu training to subdue his female housemate for two hours with ankle locks and chokes.

What a complete dick. This is definitely not what Jujitsu is about, and it’s really sad to see when you love the art so much.

Palm Bay Police said they had both got into an argument, that escalated, before he decided to use his martial arts training in Jujitsu to put her in arm bars and ankle locks. She has since gotten X-rays but with a good possibility of having a broken ankle.

This is why many sensei teach proper usage, respect and responsibility with Jujitsu; it’s not a toy, and it’s not just a method to get your own way.
